According to a report from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE, specialist insurance can help protect companies against damages resulting from rising incidences of political violence, strikes, riots and civil commotion, along with any business interruption caused by such events, FinTech Global reported. Allianz added that increasingly polarized politics, foundering faith in governments, anger over growing social inequality and the cost of living, along with a surge in environmental concerns and activism are set to stoke a rise in civil unrest.
