Cigna class action lawsuit alleges it overcharges for medical services

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Cigna Health & Life Insurance Co. in U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, alleging the insurer is overcharging for medical services, reports BenefitsPro. Arizona citizen Aubrey Srednicki, the named plaintiff, alleges that Connecticut-based Cigna participated in a “fraudulent scheme,” and the proposed class members were overcharged for medical services.
