VillageMD buys Connecticut medical group, expanding primary care reach

VillageMD, the clinical network majority owned by Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc., has acquired the Starling Physicians medical group in Connecticut, which operates more than 30 locations across the state, reports Healthcare Dive. Starling operates primary care and multi-specialty practices, and offers a range of specialties, including cardiology, ophthalmology and geriatric care.
