European firms mull sale of UK insurance software investments

European private equity firms Astorg Partners and Montagu Private Equity GmbH are considering the sale of their insurance software investments in the U.K., Reuters reported. The sale of Acturis Ltd., which is minority-backed by Astorg, may be initiated in the latter part of this year, while Montagu is mulling the sale of Open GI Ltd., which could be worth up to 12 times its expected core earnings of over £30 million ($36 million) for 2023.
