Ardonagh Specialty buys Oxford Insurance Group

Ardonagh Specialty, the wholesale broking group of U.K.-based Ardonagh Group Ltd., has completed its acquisition of U.K.-based Oxford Insurance Group Ltd., Reinsurance News reported. The acquisition, which was first announced in October 2022, will add $250 million of gross written premium and additional capacity in general liability, professional indemnity, marine and energy to the $7 billion premium placed by Ardonagh Specialty.
