Data from the Czech Insurance Association showed that the aggregate gross written premium of insurers increased 7% year-on-year to 157.36 billion Czech koruna ($7.13 billion) in 2022, driven by the fading impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but partially offset by the Russia-Ukraine war, Xprimm reported. Nonlife insurance premiums increased 8.9% year-on-year to CZK107.59 billion.
