Enstar posts net loss of $906 million in 2022

Bermuda-based insurer Enstar Group Ltd. posted a net loss of $906 million in 2022 mainly due to an investment segment loss of $1.3 billion, Reinsurance News reported. In 2021 Enstar posted a net profit of $502 million. Earnings from its run-off segment increased by $122 million to $339 million year-over-year.
