AXA Philippines merges with former non-life subsidiary

Insurer AXA Philippines has completed a merger deal with its former non-life insurance subsidiary Charter Ping An Insurance Corp., which it acquired in 2016, Philstar.com reported. Even after the acquisition, AXA had continued to sell non-life insurance in the country under the CPAIC name. However, all products under CPAIC’s label will now carry the AXA name post the merger.
