Most enrollees spend less than an hour on health plan selection: EBRI

During open enrollment, 72% of enrollees spend less than an hour on their health plan choices, according to new research from the Employee Benefits Research Institute, reports BenefitsPro. High-deductible health plan enrollees spend more time than traditional plan enrollees, the survey found. About 20% of privately insured Americans were automatically re-enrolled in traditional health insurance plans, though just 16% of high deductible plan owners report they had passive enrollment.
