Chinese insurers' solvency ratio remains adequate

According to the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, the average comprehensive solvency ratio of 181 insurers stood at 196% in the last quarter of 2022, remaining well within an appropriate range, Xinhua reported. Meanwhile, the average comprehensive solvency ratio of property insurers in the country was 237.7%.
