Insurance sector M&A activity hits decade high in 2022

Data from U.K.-based law firm Clyde & Co. LLP showed that the insurance sector mergers and acquisition activity hit a 10-year high in 2022 with 449 deals, as executives regained confidence in markets after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, City A.M. reported. However, the outlook for the sector’s M&A deals remains uncertain for this year, as executives take a more cautious approach.
