Insurers place greater emphasis on risk profile of directors and officers

According to a report by Institute of Directors in New Zealand and Marsh New Zealand, directors and officers must know all emerging risks that can affect their business if they want to be covered under liability insurance, RNZ reported. The report states that allegations of wrongful acts by directors or officers are the main drivers of claims and it is important that they understand their proximate cause and possible consequences.
