Ageas' net income jumps 20% to $1 billion

Belgian insurer Ageas SA/NV’s net income increased nearly 20% year-on-year to €1.01 billion ($1.07 billion) in 2022, driven by improved performance of its non-life business in Belgium as well as underlying results in Asia, Reinsurance News reported. Ageas' group inflows including the non-consolidated entities increased 2% year-on-year to €16 billion.
