Cyber ILS now has momentum to succeed: Lockton Re

According to a joint report from Envelop Risk Analytics Ltd., CyberCube and Lockton Re, insurance-linked securities have the potential to support additional insurance and reinsurance capacity for cyber risk, Reinsurance News reported. Oliver Brew, the lead author of the report and London cyber practice leader for Lockton Re, said that the potential for cyber ILS investments can be used unlock capacity needed to continue further development of the wider cyber insurance market.
