Amazon workers in Spain on indefinite strike over facility closure

Amazon.com Inc. workers in Spain have launched an indefinite strike to protest the company's decision to close its logistics hub in Martorelles, north of Barcelona, cutting 800 jobs, World Socialist Web Site reported. The e-commerce firm claims that it will relocate employees to centers in other cities, but has not specified any reason for closure. The workers, however, are unhappy with the solution provided by Amazon and feel they will lose many advantages that were offered as part of the Barcelona agreement.
