Brit posts nearly 25% growth in premiums

U.K.-based insurer and reinsurer Brit Ltd.’s gross written premiums increased 24.7% year-on-year to $3.97 billion in 2022, driven by rate increases across its direct and reinsurance portfolios and its digital syndicate Ki’s continue expansion, Reinsurance News reported. The insurer reported an underwriting profit of $95.4 million compared to $90.6 million in 2021.
