CEE insurance market expands by over 5%

The Central and Eastern European insurance market expanded by 5.4% year-on-year to €31.98 billion ($34.2 billion) at the end of the third quarter of 2022, Xprimm reported. Within the region, Romania’s insurance market witnessed the largest gross written premium growth of 23.2% to €2.43 billion, whereas Slovakia saw the largest premium decrease of 10.5% to €1.43 billion.
