Former health care liability leader Judy Hart dies

Judy Hart, a retired executive of Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd., died Feb. 8.
Ms. Hart, who was 78, started her career at broker Alexander & Alexander Services Inc. in 1971. In 1998, she joined Employers Reinsurance Corp. and in 2002 joined the newly formed Endurance, which was later bought by Sompo Holdings Inc.
At Bermuda-based Endurance, she built the insurer’s health care liability business.
In a statement on LinkedIn, Kim Morgan, senior vice president at Sompo, said Ms. Hart “loved to see people grow and was a huge contributor to developing so many of us in the current health care market in Bermuda.”
Ms. Hart retired in 2014.
