Casualty more attractive for reinsurers than property market: Aon

According to Nigel Light, global casualty leader at Aon PLC’s reinsurance solutions business, the casualty market remains attractive for reinsurers that are looking to diversify away from the challenging property catastrophe market, Reinsurance News reported. Mr. Light added that higher interest rates, along with de-limited risk and the underlying strong rate environment are encouraging for future growth, and are expected to support a stable casualty market.
