AssuredPartners buys Wisconsin surety agency

AssuredPartners Inc. said Thursday it has acquired J. Ryan Bonding Inc., a surety agency based in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is the fourth this year for Orlando-based AssuredPartners.

J. Ryan Bonding’s 11 employees will remain under the leadership of Michael Douglas, president, and Chris Steinagel, vice president.

AssuredPartners is the 11th largest broker of U.S. business according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
