Arch Capital's premiums up nearly 33% in fourth quarter

Bermuda-based specialty insurer Arch Capital Group Ltd.'s net premiums earned increased nearly 33% year-on-year to $2.76 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, MSN reported citing Seeking Alpha. The insurer's underwriting income increased 56% year-on-year to $734.2 million, while rising interest rates boosted its pre-tax net investment income to $181.1 million.
