Damage from earthquake estimated at $84 billion

According to a new report by the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation, the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6, may cost the country up to $84.1 billion, including $70.8 billion to repair of thousands of homes, Reuters reported. The government has declared a three-month state of emergency in 10 provinces following the quake.
