Marsh McLennan names new UK chief

U.S.-based insurance broker Marsh and McLennan Cos Inc. has named Chris Lay as chief executive for Marsh McLennan UK, in addition to his role as chief of Marsh UK Ltd., effective March 1, Corporate Adviser reported. In the new role, Mr. Lay will oversee a new regional collaborative effort to deliver services and increase client impact at Oliver Wyman LLC, Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, Mercer LLC and Marsh LLC.
