More than half of U.S. workers enrolled in HDHPs: Survey

High deductible health plan enrollment hit a record high in 2021, with more than half of all employer-sponsored health plan members enrolled in such plans, according to a ValuePenguin survey, reports Healthpayer Intelligence. The survey found that 55.7% of American workers were in high deductible health plans in 2021, which was the highest enrollment rate since 2012.
