Marsh McLennan names new Asia chief

U.S.-based insurance broker Marsh and McLennan Cos Inc. has appointed David Jacob as chief executive for Marsh McLennan Asia, Captive International reported. In the new role, Mr. Jacob will lead a collaborative effort across the four different businesses of the company, Oliver Wyman LLC, Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, Mercer LLC and Marsh LLC.
