Brookfield Reinsurance posts net income of $492 million in 2022

Bermuda-based Brookfield Reinsurance Ltd. posted a net income of $492 million in 2022, rebounding from a loss of $44 million in 2021, Reinsurance News reported. Brookfield stated that it has approximately $2 billion of corporate liquidity, with an additional $20 billion of cash and liquid assets within its insurance portfolios.
