A group of shareholders of oil and gas major Royal Dutch Shell PLC have filed a lawsuit against 11 members of the company’s board of directors over failure to manage climate risks, The Straits Times reported. The suit, filed by environmental law firm ClientEarth at London’s High Court, claims that the directors failed to approve an energy transition strategy that is in line with the Paris Agreement and continued with a strategy that is fundamentally flawed.
