MNK Re names chief for new Polish branch

Lloyd's of London reinsurance broker MNK Re Ltd. has opened a new branch in Poland and named Agnieszka Zolędziowska as the unit's chief executive, Reinsurance News reported. MNK Re Poland will focus on ensuring difficult risks in areas such as parametric solutions, terrorism, chemical, energy, industry, and financial and specialty. In her new role, Ms. Zolędziowska is charged with expanding the broker's presence in Poland and Eastern Europe.
