Federal judge again strikes down arbitration method in No Surprises Act

A federal judge in Texas has struck down key parts of the No Surprises Act, siding with doctors that the rule tilts too favorably to insurers, Fierce Healthcare reports. The lawsuit was the latest to be filed by the Texas Medical Association, arguing the Biden administration still has not gotten the arbitration process right even after a prior judgment struck down a similar rule in 2022.
