Wildfires burn over 750 hectares of forests in Chile

The National Forestry Corporation of Chile said that wildfires have burned more than 750 hectares of forests in the country, threatening farms and destroying houses as a summer heatwave hits the country, Reuters reported. The government has declared a red alert for the Nuble and Biobio region and has also ordered evacuation of rural areas due to the risk of fire.
