Pakistani automaker halts production due to inventory shortages

Pakistan-based automaker Indus Motor Co. Ltd. has halted production activity at its plant for two weeks, as recent changes in import rules have disrupted its supply chain and resulted in insufficient inventory levels of parts and components, The Express Tribune reported. Indus Motor had also shut down its plants for 10 days in January.
