Fewer people reporting long-COVID symptoms: Study

The percentage of individuals who’ve had COVID-19 and then report having long COVID symptoms shrank to 11% in January 2023 from 19% in June 2022, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation study, reports Fierce Healthcare. Some health insurance plans and employers who self-insure might breathe a sigh of relief about this development, as the condition looms large for payers as a possible future cost burden.
