Nearly half of women forgo preventive care services, poll finds

According to a recent poll, 45% of women forgo preventive care services such as check-ups, screenings and vaccines, reports Becker’s Hospital Review. The poll, conducted by the Alliance for Women's Health and Prevention and Ipsos, found that 25% of women skipped preventive care due to an inability to afford out-of-pocket costs and 23% pointed to limited time to schedule appointments.
