GFIA raises concern over premium payment rules in Argentina

The Global Federation of Insurance Associations has expressed its concerns over the issuance of new rules in Argentina that have resulted in major restrictions and delays in the payment of reinsurance premiums to foreign firms, Reinsurance New reported. The GFIA has warned that these restrictions create risk concentration within Argentina and decrease coverage capacity and access to new products and distribution channels.
