U.K.-based miner Rio Tinto Group has issued an apology after a radioactive capsule that emits the equivalent radiation of 10 X-rays an hour went missing, prompting a radiation alert across Western Australia, City A.M. reported. The silver cylinder, which contains caesium-137, fell off a truck while being transported 870 miles from the Gudai-Darri mine to a depot in the Perth suburb of Malaga.
