Some 200 Hickey Freeman Co. employees could lose health insurance coverage after the men’s clothing company neglected to pay the premiums, reports WXXI. Employees learned of the impending termination and complained to the National Labor Relations Board, alleging mishandling of paycheck deductions, and seeking immediate action. The Rochester, New York-based company owes its insurance provider, Amalgamated National Health Fund, more than $3 million in combined employer and employee contributions, according to the Workers United labor union.
