Trium appoints former AmTrust cyber exec as head of product

Hartford, Connecticut-based Trium Cyber U.S. Services Inc. said Monday it has appointed Jeffrey Batt, former head of cyber strategy and large risk at AmTrust Financial Services Inc., as head of product, a new position.

Mr. Batt’s previous positions also include cyber insurance practice leader at M&T Bank Corp.

Trium is the first entity approved by Lloyd’s to launch a monoline cyber syndicate, the company said.
