Conduit Re's written premiums up 60%

Bermuda-based reinsurer Conduit Re's ultimate premiums written increased 60% year-on-year to $421.4 million at the January renewals and it expects more rate momentum through this year, Reinsurance News reported. A combination of new business and renewals drove the growth while it also achieved higher pricing and improved terms across its portfolio.
