Glencore suspends mine operations after violent protests

Swiss mining company Glencore PLC suspended operations at the Antapaccay copper mine in Peru on Jan. 20 after protesters set fire to the workers' area of the camp and started looting, Reuters reported. Protesters attacked the premises for the third time this month, heavily damaging buildings and four vehicles.
