Brown & Brown hires Liberty Mutual exec

Brown & Brown Inc. on Monday said it has named former Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. executive Frank Castellano executive vice president and San Antonio practice leader.

Mr. Castellano will head the broker’s San Antonio operations.

He most recently was vice president and head of distribution for global retail markets, West region, including Latin America and Western Europe for Liberty Mutual Insurance, responsible for regional sales and distribution across an eight-country region, a statement said.

Brown & Brown is the fifth-largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance ranking.
