CRC hires former Argo construction head

CRC Group Inc. said Wednesday it has hired former Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. executive Kristyn Smallcombe as casualty practice group director.
Ms. Smallcombe will join CRC on Jan. 24 and be based in Chicago, the specialty intermediary said in a statement.
Most recently, Ms. Smallcombe was senior vice president and construction practice leader at Argo. She joined the insurer from Swiss Re Ltd. in 2021. Prior to joining Swiss Re in 2018, she spent 16 years at American International Group Inc.
