OptumHealth expanding mental health, in-home care services

OptumHealth is planning to integrate more behavioral and home health services into its care delivery strategy as the company continues to expand its value-based care offerings, reports Becker’s Payer Issues. UnitedHealth CEO Andrew Witty said the company’s OptumHealth unit expects 4 million more people to participate in fully accountable, value-based care models in 2023, almost 1.8 million more than the previous year.
