Telehealth usage declined in October in most areas of the country

In October 2022, after three months of relative stability, national telehealth utilization declined to 3.7% of medical claim lines from 5.2% in September, according to FAIR Health's Monthly Telehealth Regional Tracker, reports Healthcare Finance News. The national decline in telehealth utilization was larger than the average in the South (down 6.8%), Midwest (down 4.9%) and West (down 4.1 %), while there was an increase in utilization of 1.7% in the Northeast.
