PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia's underwriting performance has deteriorated in the two most recent financial years, accompanied by increasing operating expense ratio and underwriting losses at its reinsurance subsidiary, according to A.M. Best Co. Inc., Asia Insurance Review reported. Tighter reinsurance market conditions and volatility may pose ongoing challenges as the insurer tries to improve its underwriting results.
