Floods hit Malaysian Re's performance: AM Best

Ratings agency A.M. Best Co. Inc. said that European and Malaysian floods negatively affected non-life reinsurer Malaysian Reinsurance Bhd.'s underwriting performance in the fiscal year ended March 2022, Asia Insurance Review reported. However, more favorable performance in the company’s India and Middle East and North Africa books partly mitigated the losses.
