Pro sports agent sued for theft of retirement plan assets

Professional Sports Planning Inc., a Houston-based business providing representation and negotiation services for professional athletes, has been accused of stealing employees’ retirement plan assets for its own operating expenses, reports Plansponsor. U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh recently brought a civil lawsuit before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas against Carl Poston, co-owner of Professional Sports, under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
