McGriff hires from Marsh, Lockton

McGriff Insurance Services LLC on Monday said former Marsh LLC executive David Garrett has been named executive vice president and Texas practice leader for its executive risk advisors division, while Kevin Sisk, previously of Lockton Cos. LLC, has been appointed executive vice president and energy practice leader for Texas.

Both are newly created positions and based in Houston, according to an email from a spokesman.

In this new role, Mr. Garrett will manage McGriff’s Texas ERA practice, including employees in Houston, Dallas, Chicago and Denver. (ADD) He reports to David Sellars, co-leader of McGriff’s Executive Risk Advisors division, according to the email.

He most recently managed an executive liability specialty practice for Marsh.

McGriff’s executive risk advisors group includes more than 70 professionals in Atlanta; Birmingham, Alabama; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Houston; and New York City, a statement said.

Mr. Sisk, who will lead the energy practice in Texas for McGriff, was most recently senior vice president of the Houston global marine & energy practice for Lockton, the statement said.

He reports to Patrick Dessauer, president, Southwest region, according to the spokesman’s email.
