McDonald's exits Kazakhstan over supply shortage

U.S.-based fast-food chain McDonald's Corp. will exit Kazakhstan after disruptions triggered by the Ukraine war left the country without a substitute for Russian meat supplies, Wion reported citing Bloomberg. Local franchise Food Solutions KZ LLP operated 24 McDonald's restaurants that employed 2,000 people across the country.
