Cyber risk capacity from ILS market to increase in 2023: CyberCube

Cyber risk analytics expert CyberCube predicted there will be an increase in new cyber reinsurance capacity this year as underwriters and insurance-linked securities fund managers increasingly collaborate, Artemis reported. ILS capacity backing for cyber risks remains limited, but efforts are in motion to deliver on the first cyber catastrophe bonds, as well as to unlock more capital markets capacity to back cyber retrocessional reinsurance needs.
