Sedgwick names president of property, international business

Sedgwick Claims Services Management Inc. on Wednesday promoted Tom Simoncic to president of its property and international business.

He follows Ian Muress, international CEO, who will be retiring March 31, 2023, as previously announced, a statement said.

In his new role, Mr. Simoncic will oversee Sedgwick’s global property and international business with more than 10,000 employees.

Mr. Simoncic was most recently Sedgwick’s president of property for the Americas with responsibility for clients in Canada, Latin America and the U.S., the statement said.

Mike Arbour, Sedgwick CEO, said in the statement the company’s international business has grown “significantly” over the past five years.
